Everything's coming up eighties... and we are jumping on board with both feet! We already love the butter-soft, fabulous rock and pop culture t-shirts from Chaser LA, but when they started coming out with these oversized, eighties-inspired tees, we just about lost our minds.
Here we have two new additions to the collection-- a reproduction Queen "Keep Yourself Alive" t-shirt. Technically, "Keep Yourself Alive" is a song from the early seventies (from their first album), but the t-shirt style is pure eighties. Cropped length and extra-slouchy sleeves.
We've also received this fabulous tee featuring artwork by iconic eighties artist Patrick Nagel (he of Duran Duran's Rio album artwork fame). This boxy tee is great for the gym (Jazzercise, anyone?), a cover-up at the beach, or paired up with a favorite pair of jeans for a casual, comfy look.
Patrick Nagel was an illustrator best known for the iconic work he created in the eighties, such as the cover of Duran Duran's Rio. Sparse imagery with an art deco influence were the hallmarks of his designs. Although he is no longer with us, his artwork lives on in the eighties revival currently trending in fashion and decor.
Chaser LA has been bringing back Patrick Nagel's designs in t-shirts and tank tops. Featured here is a racer back, long body, "burnout" tank top with a classic Patrick Nagel portrait of a woman on the front. Cotton poly rayon blend is buttery soft and delicious!
